I don't think LTU's bowl victory will mean squat to any recruits. The only bowl games anybody watches these days are the playoff bowl games. Most of these bowls that G6 teams play in won't even exist in three or four years. The transfer portal and NIL money have pretty much destroyed the G6 conferences.

Fewer and fewer love and understand the sport.

More and more suffer from FoMo, MeToo, and Look at ME syndrome.

Right now UL isn't catering to the fewer and fewer or the more and more.

None of that bodes well for "just like we did"

SEC has lost 5 out of last 6 music city bowls and 8 out of last 11.

If the p4 want less bowls how about if a conf loses 3 in a row or if they cant fill the bowl, they give up their tie-in. G5 can give up a bowl and take over that one

Not sure how the peach bowl rose in such stature to host a playoff when it was just about 12-15 years ago they were making fun of TSAB for going to that bowl
