This is why I think its good JMU kept it close.
This is just how I see it. Both Tulane and JMU deserved to be in, and they earned that right. If one team gets boat‑raced, that’s one thing we can chalk it up as a mismatch. But if two teams get boat‑raced back‑to‑back, then the committee suddenly has an argument for never letting another Group of 5 or 6 program into the CFP. That’s the hypocrisy baked into the system: the door is only open until the cartel finds an excuse, built by the narrative and talking heads on ESPN on all these sports shows, to build a case to slam it shut. Its a conspiracy theory but its mine so.
They do not want us in there PERIOD.
They’re going to try just watch. I’ll bet the next narrative will be that Oregon pulled their starters in the 3rd quarter, when in reality it wasn’t until the 4th. And then they’ll spin it as if Oregon had the game won before halftime and JMU never deserved to be there in the first place!
It has already taken place!
We can chalk it up as a win the fact that two G5 got invited, but then the shoe drops, and then the big rug pull when none are allowed in the CFP.
