Important to acknowledge here this makes 3 out of 4 losing seasons for this coaching staff. Not celebrating it, but that's a fact. And ANOTHER FCS move up passing us by. Why do we put up with this mediocrity?

Just 2 field goals in the first half (even with the miss) and CajunsWin in regulation.
Don't underestimate lost momentum.
Lost momentum due to thinking you have to win the game in 30 minutes is a hump I thought Des has left in his rear view mirror.
The lost momentum of getting on the board and the defense realing from the unexpected interception is the difference.
The defense played great overall but the offensive effort to score a TD instead of just score put the defense on its heals unexpectantly with a squander of momentum.
Two field goals and Delaware does go on that drive after the interception
Louisiana wins just by kicking that early field goal.
Its a 60 minute game not 30.
Reminds me of the Tulane game.
1. Big Plays = Both of their TD's came on big plays. Generally the D played well enough to win, especially in the first half but....
2 Turnovers = We had two costly TO's in the first half that killed our momentum, especially when we were defending well outside of the big play run that scored their TD.
The game was going to come down to TO's. The hens were not very good this year when losing the TO battle. I suppose that filters through to most teams when it comes to TO's but they just made fewer errors. They didn't kill themselves. We did.
Just for ____s and giggles. Lets say 88 actually catches the ball on last play. We go for two or kick and go to OT?
OT
