When we got close to the red zone, I thought 2. Actually, I was really optimistic that we'd at least score the td, which is a change for me.
We would have had the momentum, no time on the clock, you get 1 play to get 2 yards and win a bowl game. Lunch was hobbled and the game needed to be over. From the looks of it, every play was painful. How much could he have taken into OT?
Heard a good one this AM. Coach 67...
You hate facts don't you. You throw yourself on the sword every chance you get in defense of mediocrity. You may want to get out sometimes and see what people outside of this board feel about this athletic department. And we wonder how come we don't have big donors. Your delusion [as well as others] is simply mind blowing. You censor, you critique, and make it sound like everything is rainbows. We're in serious trouble in this new world of NIL. We're in debt up to our azz and you're still waving the pom poms. Absolutely incredible.
post this everywhere . . .
UL has several really talented players. This season's 6-7 team is way better athletically than Desormeaux's first team was. They just make too many ball handling mistakes. They're tough & way more physical than the Mike's first team. they just need to hopefully stick together & not lose too many guys. The transfers I saw from LSU need to keep transferring IMO. One thing I'm learning about college football more than ever with this whole NIL & transfer portal crap. No one is going to dominate any league year in & year out. One year your team may be great, then the next they may be very disappointing. Then a year of struggle & growth, followed by a year of dominance. That's the pattern whether you're Texas, Alabama, Louisiana, or Coastal Carolina. It's just the way it is. I think the future looks pretty bright for these guys if they stick together & don't lose too many players.
