I'm glad JMU got in, I didn't think it would be able to happen. Things fell right, and I'm happy for the Sun Belt.

This is a huge deal. The argument has always been that not only could the SunBelt not compete but they had a slim to 0 chance of even getting a seat at the table in the first place. Well, throw that second one out.

Need to take advantage now, because you better believe the parameters will change next year to avoid this happening again.

The entire front office of the ACC needs fired. All of them. The office then needs to be ripped out of North Carolina and relocated to Atlanta, Miami, or Dallas. We need to hire a ruthless, no prisoners, front office that puts the needs of all of the member schools first.

Texas boards are funny. Ranges from fire Sark to the ever popular “Sark needs to hire an OC”.

There was absolutley no way they could keep Alabama out. If they did, then it would be the end of the Conference championships, but they also did screw BYU because they were in the same boat and then thereby screwing Notre Dame, because once BYU was not between ND and Miami, head-to-head came into play.

There is no perfect solution, but I would prefer to get rid of conference championship games, and add more teams to the playoff and that off week of conference championships allows you to start the playoffs earlier. Every regular season conference champions makes it in and the rest are based on a ranking system.

Norte Dame had their shot and missed it. They also don’t want to join a conference so they limit themselves to the 7 at large bids, right?

But hey, they love that media deal with NBC so being an independent suits them just fine.

The “power” guys can cry all they want. The CFP built this thing and it backfired on them in only year 2.
