Has Rob ever actually called plays? He was an OC here at Louisiana and initially at Florida. But we all know that Billy called the plays when he was here and at Florida.

I don't think he has, at least not at Louisiana.

No proof but I feel like Napier calling plays and winning led to Desormeaux taking on the duties.

My gut tells me Desormeaux is on the sidelines under Napier thinking 'I could have done better' in that instance.

the 3 pass plays when we got the ball back from ULM when we were at our own 10 yard line was pure idiotic to not run the ball and burn some clock. Also risking Walker Howard coming into the game and throwing a pick 6 there.

What was even crazier is running the ball 2 more times before kicking the field goal from our own 5 yard line. Further putting a hurt Lunch back in on 3rd down to try and score a TD. But hey it worked out. LOL.

If he ever wins big, Louisiana has already lost that bargaining chip.

First year HC coaches should never expect a buyout clause, nor should one be given.

His buyout was not done to make the job offer better for CMD. It was done to shut up the fans who might try to force Martin Hall to fire CMD.
