Which headline we objecting to? Nothing new to report on the Mascot front or 'Albineaux' rejected as UL mascot

Has AL's owner deputized anyone in the lafayette area?
I thought initially it was said he lives in NY? Not sure if that is still true and/or how many times he can make it down?
Probably too soon to have deputized someone

The headline is also wrong. UL can't reject something I'm not actively pitching to them. I'm pitching to you. The reader. I care more about all of you (people who I eat, drink, dance, serve, and go to church with) than anyone who's job is to just say no. Oh wait, that's not their job. It's suppose to be improving our university, YET here we are broke and still unable to fill our brand new half stadium.

What should have been in this article is Al teaching a hundred sum kids how to do the UL hand sign. What should have been in this article is countless parents coming up to Al and thanking him for being there, for giving their children a memory to hold on to. What should have been in this article is, unlike UL, who will beg you for more money to support a 6-6 football team and a 1-8 basketball team, all I'm asking for is for your approval and for you to join me in sharing a enthusiasm for the Ragin Cajuns.

Truth is, anyone in that office, or any naysayer for that matter, can say "no" so much that their face turns blue. But if they spent just five minutes at tailgates as Albineaux, they'll see all the joy he brings to the kids there, and how irresponsible this administration has been by not having a spirit leader.
    Certainly a disappointing article.

Al just needs to keep doing his thing as a spirit leader. A welcomed addition, as far as I’m concerned.

So keep up the good fight.

And if any tech people out there would know how to alter my avatar to Albineaux instead of the Pepper, I would gladly change my avatar to reflect the change.
Real Easy! At the top of the screen there is settings on the left side there is a bunch of tabs, one should say avatar, ( A tab will say upload file or choose file, go to photos, choose the picture, and hit upload and you done!

Here is a picture you can use.

    Probably both.

There is a truckload of news to report on how well the fans and kids recieved Albineaux.

That was all that was ever reported on for the FCC. Topped off by his antics of course.

No reporter ever went to Martin Ha and asked "Do you approve of the Chicken?" "Is it official?" "Do you endorse it?"

The only reason they are doing it for an alligator is because it fits so well with Louisiana.

Everyone knew the chicken was a spoof and all in good fun so everyone went along with it.

Not only that but this was while Louisiana was taking care of a bulldog mascot while still being the Ragin' Cajuns.

Everthing is so micromanage today you are not allowed to just have fun.

Of course the reporter asked the question because there is a void in the fan day booster realm. So I get it.

But in the end, no endorsement from Martin Hall is not news in the least.

Meanwhile the admins “rejecting” have not done jack or shat in this or most other areas of fan engagement

    Please keep doing your thing
