There is a truckload of news to report on how well the fans and kids recieved Albineaux.

That was all that was ever reported on for the FCC. Topped off by his antics of course.

No reporter ever went to Martin Ha and asked "Do you approve of the Chicken?" "Is it official?" "Do you endorse it?"

The only reason they are doing it for an alligator is because it fits so well with Louisiana.

Everyone knew the chicken was a spoof and all in good fun so everyone went along with it.

Not only that but this was while Louisiana was taking care of a bulldog mascot while still being the Ragin' Cajuns.

Everthing is so micromanage today you are not allowed to just have fun.

Of course the reporter asked the question because there is a void in the fan day booster realm. So I get it.

But in the end, no endorsement from Martin Hall is not news in the least.

Martin Hall has analysis paralysis on everything athletics. That is partly why our overall athletics suck.

I’ll keep it not because it irks Martin Hall but because it makes so many people happy. Fans of Delaware, Alabama, Auburn, South AL, and of course, UL were all taking pictures with him.

Get this. Top moment for me. Albineaux was standing in line to take a picture with the Santa Claus there. But he had to wait a while because people can’t lining up to a picture with AL instead. That’s crazy to me haha. At one point Albineaux had a bigger line than SANTA.

To everyone who reads this forum and hasn’t seen Al in person or still has doubts, I’m telling you, we have something so special.
