How about making our rivalry game Texas State? H/H extended contract. Ending of last game was a little chippy. This could develop into something really good. Schedule making would be really easy. Conference, FCS, Texas State, (2) P4's.

Hell no!!!!! We are a perfect 13-0 vs them. They would have to call begging to play us and I would play them in San Marcos only if they paid us 500K to play. No Home and Home, 1 game at San Marcos as a pay day.

7-6 with a 5 game win streak going into next year is much better than Des' first two 6-7 seasons. In fact it will be his first bowl win if we get this W.
In fact it could be argued it is better than the terrible way we got our asses handed to us in the SBC championship and the Bowl game last year even though we did win 10 games last year.

To be a rivalry wouldnt both teams have to have won a game?

I think we will get paired with USM for the rivalry game weekend. Not sure why some thought USM would pair with Ark State. We are closer to USM than A State is geographically.
