They went 9-3 this year, ranked number 16 in the country and only lost to 3 top 25 teams in Illinois, Notre Dame and Oregon.

They are as good as or better than a Mizzou team that thoroughly whooped our AZZZes this year.

USC is climbing back but their downfall began with opting out of a bowl.

We couldn’t even keep within the point spread vs UT-Austin during our 2021 season. Granted, Levi’s passing and our OLine pass protection (lack there of) didn’t help one bit, but that team, including at QB and OLine, was much more capable than what we have on our current roster.

Unless something drastically changed for us, or USC commits 4+ turnovers, I don’t think the game will be close.

But hey…we need the cash for our athletic department, so let’s collect it and hope for the best.

that is ish. Wonder since we have an open away OOC game we need if we are looking for another possible payday or do we try to line up a G6 opponent.

I know Maggard's plan is always 1 FCS Home, 1 G6 Home, 1 P4 away and 1 G6 away, but this might be the season to make some money and schedule 2 P4 paydays.

FYI, about 10 years ago I went to a notre dame at USC game...

Maybe things have changed now. Or RCAF may have some other deals.... but back then you had to buy tickets to at least 3 games for regular USC games and 4 if you wanted ND.
