In many ways, UL’s men’s basketball team had its most encouraging game of the season, but it still resulted in a loss.

Wednesday’s 65-55 road loss to the Lamar Cardinals dropped the Ragin’ Cajuns to a 1-8 start for the third time since 2010 with the other two being coach Bob Marlin’s first and last seasons at UL.

Time for a "Fear the Beard" run.

Last great example of organic marketing for Louisiana Basketball.

Looks we are in a “Medicine Season”. I’m hoping all these guys will get experience, the injured guys will come back healthy, and the highly touted recruits will all show up for next year. If all this happens (fingers crossed) we could have a very good team “next year”. Call me a koolaid drinker or whatever you want. It’s ok.
