    And that’s what he said. It was his mistake in how he approached recruiting with NIL this offseason. Said his strategy will change this year.

    How are we supposed to fund a program that doesn’t charge for tickets and rents the Cajundome for 12 people? Did any of the girls on the team last year get poached? I had the chance to watch yesterday for the first time this year and it’s a downright awful product.

    Title 9 basically requires us to have this program. If we drop it, we would have to add another women's sport. Perhaps we could add women's bowling. La Tech, Southern, and Tulane have programs. That might help me find scholarships for some special young ladies I coach in that sport. I am being facetious with that comment of course.
