25 point loss at home to East Tx A&M? good lord
I fell sorry for the girls on the team and the coaches. I know this has to affect them mentally. I'm sure their self esteem is pretty low.
Nothing will change. Very small but dedicated fan base No big donors. Admission is free at home. CGB is a good gatekeeper.
Nothing will change when CGB retires.
Entire new roster means CGB didn't plan for the future. The 3 freshmen he brought in this year are good but will need to be developed by the next coach.
Brodhead is better than Errol Rogers; but then again, I am probably better than Errol Rogers.
Brodhead is one of the "He's one of us" hires that we are famous for keeping too long.
Listened to CGB today with Foote. Flat out said we have two other girls coming then other schools outbid us. Also sounded like he planned on coming back next season.
Once again that is at least partly his fault. Lack of funding is a serious issue that is in part caused by consistent sub-par performance on the court, which is a coaching problem. Admittedly we will never be able to attract the Kim Perot, Anna Petrakova, Yolanda Jones type of players we had before Errol Rogers, but Brodhead has not recruited well, even before the Portal and NIL made it very difficult.
