And what percentage of students can actually even go to the game. If we didnt have 100 pct availability for our students, and back then our own side, im not sure i would have supported the univ after graduation. I would feel strange if i was a student at a p4 and i couldnt get into the game or need a student loan to buy the tickets
The biggest difference is that their administration actually CARES about athletics! On the flip side ours sees athletics as a BURDEN and is afraid to promote it effectively. So when the admin fails to promote athletics it’s easy for students to do the same.
Is it fair to compare UT athletics or any other major programs to ours? Honestly no. But it is easy to compare the efforts of supporting athletics. When it’s more of an afterthought you see where our program has fallen to. Really ____es me off!!
Are there any kind of town halls or other forums to talk to any of these people directly. Or the board over them?
Maybe it is misunderstood what they are trying to do, or maybe they respectfully disagree and there is a valid academic reason why their way is better, or they agree with you wholeheartedly but the board is preventing them from doing what they want to do
