Basketball is not a “plug and play” sport. We tried to plug and play an entire team & coach. There is very little leadership on the floor, continuity, & teamwork. We do have small flashes, but no consistency. We may have some decent role players, but we need a floor leader. This year may continue to be ugly, but with a solid off season, and a good recruiting class, (which it appears we do have) we should be much better next season. That’s tough to say since we just started this season with a lot of hype!!!

Fans are getting tired of the hype from Coaches. Football coaches did the same ____ to us. Fastest team, making CFP, etc.

I kinda bought into that too. A lot of these guys looked really good on paper, coming from Pepperdine, South Carolina, etc. But there just doesn’t seem to be much chemistry yet. Hopeful that will develop soon. I do think we have a good coach and recruiter.

I was excited about the roster. They have some nice talent on paper committed for 26’ also. But on the court right now, Bob’s worst teams were better than this. It’s been some time since we have had a product this bad.

I get it. Q needs time. It’s just discouraging when you see teams with a new coach and a slew of transfers win right out the gate.
