No it is not! Don't be silly.

It is however a life sentence at hard labor.

This very recent development is only true because P6 conferences have circled the wagons and gone to 9 conference games making independant status unfeasible.

There has to be missing context here. There is absolutely no way C-USA is generating twice as much revenue as the Sun Belt.
I have no clue about CUSA but it has been posted several times (with links) that UL's pay went from $500G (in the last media deal) to $2 mil in the current deal.

So at least UL's numbers line up with previous reports.

I guess all of the trashing of Conference USA here may have been a little disinformation or misinformation based 🤔

Why dont we play Notre Dame, other than boston college, we have a higher catholic connection that most. And most of the "bigger/more well known" catholic schools are hoops only.

Boomer's jesuit ties could be an in with BC, maybe set up a 3 team match similar to commander in chief....

Tell me why the PAC doesn’t make more sense?

Better brands, more money, better perception.

Save travel costs....just stay out there for road trips.

Why would Tech pay $5 million to get out AND take an additional cut in revenues of $1.5 million?

Doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Tech bought ocean front property in Ruston so there's that.

If there is a discrepancy it is in how much CUSA pays out.

The SBC $2mil number has been widely reported.

At the time of Tech's announcment it was said they were leaving $750,000 for $2,000,000

That is what I was thinking.
