I will take the latest one possible. May give us a chance to get some more people healthy.

Turns out it is not extra bowl practices...just more weeks in 'season'..... the rich get richer, p4 could play 6 more weeks and get more than 30 more practices.... meanwhile if we get the earliest bowl might just get 5 practices, not even the 15 # many thought....

There is no set number of extra practice sessions for an NCAA football team that makes a bowl game, and the popular "15 practices" myth is incorrect. While a team can practice up to four hours a day and 20 hours a week, the total number of practice sessions is not capped as long as standard NCAA rules are followed. Some teams see bowl practices as a benefit because it gives them an opportunity to work with younger players and prepare for the next season.

Every team “could” go 12-0. You have to judge the season by all of the factors, not against the perfect storm of perfection. Tons of injuries, 3rd string QB, #1 receiver playing hurt half the season. Definitely lost a few we on paper should have won. I get some of the criticism I just don’t get the relentless nature of it. It’s as though some are just intent on being unhappy and refuse to acknowledge any positive outcomes, or begrudgingly do with qualifications. Free country, feel how you want and say what you want, but I don’t get it.

Not directed at you Turbine, your post was just handy.

I haven't seen a conclusion to a season this upbuilding since I predicted the 2005 Bustle team winning out the last 5 games.

I did not see 4 straight happening this year.

Does the NOLA bowl still have Louisiana as a must go if the SBC champ gets CFP or decides not to go there? I know that used to be a thing.

    Two more projections:

    Indy Bowl -Louisiana vs WKU
    Baco Raton Bowl
    Lousiana vs LA Tech

Hoping we get the Indy bowl so we can travel. I’m fine with it. Just not 5 degrees please.

I would argue almost no team could go 12-0.
It would be very hard to imagine a 12-0 team not going to a conf title game and/or a bowl game, so 13-0,12-1,13-1,14-0 all more likely than 12-0
