This team could have easily gone 11-1
Im reading 82 spots, 82 eligible, sounds good news
9 SBC teams eligible, out of 14 teams = 64 pct
SEC might have 10, but out of 16, only 62 pct.
All in all SBC is better than we get credit for, they have to recognize that.
Athlon sports: i count all 9 SBC teams in....
IS4S Salute to Veterans Bowl (Dec. 16)

SBC had the highest amount of Bowl Eligible teams out of G6 this year.
SBC - 9
American - 8
MWC - 7
CUSA - 5
MAC - 5
PAC - 1
No one wants to Give SBC any credit ever, but SBC continues to show how this conference anyone can beat anyone and how tough it is to win here.

If a team's bowl is too early do they lose some of the allottwd postseason bowl practices? Or can they be banked?
Conf pct of teams bowl eligible:
INDEPENDENTS....100.0%
ACC. 64.7 pct
Big10. 66.7 pct
SunBelt 64.3 pct
SEC 62.5 pct
B12. 62.5 pct
CUSA 58 pct
MWest 58 pct
American 57 pct
PAC 50 pct
MAC 31 pct
Turns out they were actually one bowl eligible team short. But they are giving that spot to Delaware from CUSA, they have 6 wins, but are supposed to be ineliguble during fcs to fbs transition time.
One (among many im sure) negative aspect of CFP is it seems there are a lot less bowl projections
