Lunch and a few others are probably gone after this season. Let's get our money's worth and light up ulm and then light up somebody in a Bowl game.

Why does everyone think Lunch is a lock to leave in offseason?

Because most fans are always negative and think every single player will leave.

Most people here live in reality and understand that a 18-20 yr old would rather money and chance to play at a bigger program. It does not take a Rhodes Scholar to understand this. I dislike the NIL program the most but that’s life now.

What programs are coming for Lunch?

Lunch, by the NCAA statistics, his QB Rating is ranked #77 of all QB's, with a 139.2.
By Completion Percentage, he is ranked #100, with a 60.4%
By Average Yards Per Pass, he is ranked #56 with a 7.8 yds/pass.

I wouldn't worry about it. I think he can improve over time, but it's not a given. You guys worry to much and your bar is set too low.

UL SP+ ranking is 102 in case anyone wanted to know. Better than ULM at 132, so we got that going for us. I'm sure many RP posters will be happy with that.

Correct but many of our fans immediately give up on players without realizing that our coaches are also still recruiting them to stay.

Because in a much smaller sample size we saw the loss of Zeon Chriss. I think we will always worry about the talent at positions when they show the ability to play somewhere else. That is the nature of the new NIL and Transfer Portal world we live in. I have no inside information if Lunch will leave or not, but I know I would be concerned for the rest of my life as long as the transfer portal and NIL is as it is right now about any player that we consider a star or a rising star at UL as will every team in the country including most of your P4 schools.

Ehh...back then, playing pass defense wasn't illegal yet.
