Not sure it was a bounce back as much as a bought and paid for with stolen cash complete rebuild

So instead of giving us a matchup we would have been reved up and talking about all month they give us both matchups that niether cares one bit about.

Agreed. Great to be bowling, but Delaware and Coastal?

It is very odd that this occurred. Why not just put Cajuns vs. Bulldogs in the Indy bowl?
Would have been many many tickets sold and both teams probably could just drive in and out. College football just is very questionable sometimes.

Actually, if my memory serves me, it's vice versa. This was one way that leather helmets were stitched together in the early days. I think I read somewhere that Delaware started painting the helmets, and Michigan copied them.

Someone should double check, I could be wrong.

When P2 programs that get a boat load of TV money, they have money to burn. Half a mill fine is chump change they figure well spent to avoid losing to a G7. Beginning of the end of the bowl era.

G7 will be forced into the new BCS lite. But just like FCS, playoff or bowls, will be on ESPN+ and the average fan of college football won’t know who is playing nor have an interest to find out.

The only thing that might help is ND being forced to join a conference. They’re the crazy uncle of college football. Their whining when their only 1 or 2 hard game schedule comes back to bite them.

Would sell game tickets but empty hotels and needed tourism for Shreveport would suffer. Would be a great matchup but I fear local interests prevailed.
