Hero sports: (never heard of it before)

For my Myrtle Beach Bowl prediction, I project Louisiana will play Jacksonville State with Jax State winning.

Teams likely to play in the Myrtle Beach Bowl:

    Jacksonville State
    Kennesaw State
    Louisiana Tech
    Louisiana
    Marshall

At 80 as of 7 PM.

Teams that can obtain 6-6 record:

    Georgia Southern/Marshall
    Arkansas St/App
    Penn State/Rutgers

    Kentucky L
    Baylor L
    Kansas State W
    UCF L
    Louisiana W
    Texas State W
    Army W
    FSU L
    WSU up 19 almost HT
Rice down 28 mid 2nd qtr
    Auburn just started

    Geaux Cajuns!
Surely if there are 81 teams, and being we beat TXST, with TXST Leaving the SBC. The SBC would leave them out and allow UL to be in a bowl. LOL!

    Rice - Lost
    Army -Won
    K State -Won
    UCF-Lost
    Baylor - Lost
    Wash. St - Win
    Kentucky - Lost
Auburn - Will Most Probably Lose
    Florida St- Lost
    Texas St - Won
    Louisiana - Won

74 teams before and now 5 more teams made it so there will be 79 teams Bowl Eligible at end of tonight.

All 6 win teams get in that qualify.
Will they allow 7-5 Missouri State and/or 6-6 Delaware who do not quality in??? as they are in transition as there is only one spot left.

We’ll find out soon enough. The thing the SBC should consider is UL holds the SBC record for consecutive bowl appearances. 7 and counting. Another thing,

Texas State is leaving. Good reason the SBC simply says bu-bye.

Don’t forget to add Penn State, Arkansas State and Georgia Southern to today’s winners.

    Teams 6-6 or better

    American 8
    ACC 11
    Big Ten 12
    Big Twelve 10
CUSA 5 (2 move ups not counted)
    Independent 2
    MAC 5
    MWC 7
    PAC Two 1
    SEC 10 (Auburn TBD)
    SBC 9

    80?

Already had A State and Georgia Southern in the 79 total if you see my original post. I forgot about Penn State so Penn State makes 80 right now for 80 spots.

Auburn loses, slots and eligibility match at 80. Going bowling!!!

The program with the longest streak of consecutive bowl appearances in the Sun Belt Conference is the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns, with a streak of seven consecutive appearances, including their trip to the 2024 New Mexico Bowl. The Marshall Thundering Herd is close behind with a streak of eight, which was set to end after the 2024 season but was able to be extended with their 2024 bowl game appearance.

    Make it 8.

Hell of an accomplishment for the team after so many injuries especially on the OL. They could have mailed the 2nd half of the season in but they didn’t.
