Losing to EMU may come home to roost. That game felt like hitting rock bottom. No business losing to a running Bottom 10 joke.

    Utah State has 6 wins.

Marshall and Georgia Southern play each other as does Arkansas State and App. So that eliminates two from the list. Cuts 21 one win away to 18 in play.

Penn State and Rutgers play each other, both in same 5-6 boat.

Bowl tie ins are just that, tie ins. The "resume" is not analyzed in the same manner the CFP "ranks" teams

Utah state may have been said left out be espn, but were not on the 21 list of teams needing 1 more win, so would still be 19

Ironic that nil has led to players skipping bowls, but has also led to more teams qualifying for bowls. I guess pay does increase performance after all, lol

I can honestly say I don't think I have ever seen Utah State play. I'm sure it a good program. Not once.

1993, Jake Delhomme's first game. He came in after 3 other QBs, hole too deep to dig out of. Then at end of season they won the tiebreak because of that game and represented big west in las vegas bowl, making us wait almost 20 years for another bowl

This is where a good PR department comes in.

    Highlight recent top 25 ranking.

Highlight best ever New Orleans Bowl numbers.

Highlight recent best non playoff bowl game rankings.

Highlight human interest Lunch Winfield to counter any negatives.

Force them to consider Louisiana's record with Lunch under center.

Unless some other entity is out there actively promoting Louisiana negatives, a proactive PR team can earn the slot.

    peaking at the right time

lunch is a beast and the further he gets away from summer weight training the more accurate his passing skills become

recent history (last few games) indicates next man up excels at a higher level then last man up

Louisiana with Louis and Anna in tow provides unmatched mascot entertainment

place silhouette of Louisiana with FDL

on helmet and everywhere else it can be prominently displayed to SCREAM a Louisiana
