Coaching staff held the team together through injuries that have decimated the OL, has us starting QB3, as well as suspensions forcing us to lose multiple big contributors on defense. Hung 34 on them at their place when they were fighting for a championship spot.

A State fans will look at the statistic sheet and see an unused timeout and blame Butch but the fact is he had all the time in the world he needed to win thanks to Desormeaux calling timeouts for him. A State didn't lose because they ran out of time they lost because the Cajuns kept them out of the endzone on 4th down. If coach D wasn't buying them time the game would have ended on 2nd or probably third down because Butch would have been forced to burn his final timeout. The goal line stand won the game not them forgetting they had a timeout.

CMD didn’t buy them time, clock was stopped every time. He used his timeouts wisely once it was clear they would be useless since we would never get the ball back. Everyone was used to get us into better position or avoid a penalty.

The supposedly much more experienced Butch Jones ____ed his time management up badly on the last drive.

100 % incorrect. Des called the timeouts with the clock stopped to set up the defense and give it a rest after seeing what ASU had set up the offense. We used them very efficiently.

Agreed. I wish it was a night game instead of at 2:00. We would get a much bigger crowd and more enthusiasm. Doesn't make sense since its on the +.

The last game vs ULM is almost always at 2 pm. Doesn’t matter all the students will be out for Thanksgiving break. They were not at the last game anyway. Let’s all just show up and support our team. Who ever shows up. Let’s be loud and proud!
