Louisiana had 10 more penalties than Arkansas State last night. Since 2001, the Cajuns have played 310 games.
This 10-penalty difference is the second largest in favor of a Cajun opponent and the largest in a Cajun conference game.
The only bigger difference was in 2019 at Ohio, when Louisiana had 11 more penalties—but that game was officiated by a MAC crew.
I believe that this year’s season may be Coach Ds best so far. A team does not survive mentally with what these kids have been through without a leader that they believe in and trust. Mike hasn’t quit believing in them and obviously they have not given up on him.
In the Air Force you learn flying is easy when no one is shooting at you. And managing in a natural resource company teaches you life is simple when your commodity prices are high. Coach is working with missiles flying by and low commodity prices. I have no idea how NIL will impact this crew, but we’ll have some seasoned young people next year.
Of course, missiles can hit and low commodity prices can bankrupt you, so there is that.
Our defense showed some REAL testicular fortitude in stopping stAte at the goal line last night!! WAY TO GEAUX CAJUNS!!!

Second half of the season I totally agree.
First half he made some momentum killing decisions like trying to win games in the first half going for two way to early which if you don't make subtly kills the joy of the touchdown.
But the second half, he seems to be thinking clearly and quickly.
Above all doing more with less.
Kudos to Mike.
It is posted from a VOLs account, hmm.... rent free much?
