Media Value in College Sports

I found this on the Conference Realignment Board.

UL is dead last in Media Value and we wonder why no other conferences come calling. We have losing programs in football, men's & women's basketball, baseball (last year) and softball (barely above .500 last year) with no media value.

The current state of UL athletics is not good.

As of 2024, this is the media value of SBC schools:

1. James Madison - $112M
2. App State - $101.3M

6. Marshall - $56.9M

Different people put in the work on that front.

This current group seems to farm out almost everything media or social only, as well as tending to focus only on Lafayette "our town" and tops it off by implying a spirit leader is a nuisance they can't be bothered with.
