I meant to say ULM played better than they are.

The Bill Davis 4th down call from Louisiana's own 24 tops any "scared money don't make money" call from the Napier era.

At 5-6 with nothing to lose? I don't think so

Which scared money avoidance play by Napier do you consider more of a gamble?

By their very nature they are:
    Drive on the line
    Game on the line
    Season on the line

The bigger the gap between expected and achieved, the greater the "scared money don't make money" nature of the play becomes.

The game, a chance for a bowl game and ultimately a chance for a winning season on the line is not “nothing”.
