thanks Jay - it’s important that success at Louisiana be viewed through the lenses which the current market has placed upon Louisiana

Wife made an interesting observation. Said UL defense just loves to yap at the opponent after almost every play.
So I paid attention. She was right.
Need to be better.
He calls them GA and OK, but they call themselves UGA and OU, lol
Are we LA or UL?
And i think it is funny when alabama has baseball.or.softball jerseys that say "Bama" but have an A on hat, shouldnt it be B?
Eight in a row. It is impressive when you think about it.
Remember not so long ago we just wanted 1. Any 1. And it felt like it was nearly impossible to get.
Ragin’ Cajuns senior linebacker Jaden Dugger tied his career-high with 16 tackles in Louisiana’s 30-27 victory over in-state rival ULM to clinch bowl eligibility for the Sun Belt-leading eighth-straight season.
The Pittsburgh, Pa., native also registered a team-high 3.5 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks in the rivalry win.
Dugger’s 118 tackles on the season rank third among Sun Belt student-athletes on the season and are the most by a Ragin’ Cajun since Chris Jacobs’ 120 tackles in 1985.
This stuff is why we have such apathy toward the program..
Every team on that list (except maybe Memphis) has a fanbase that is ready to fire the coach and burn the stadium down if they end up in the Independence Bowl. 6-6 is an abysmal failure for all of them, and they play exponentially harder schedules.
Yet here we are patting ourselves on the back and breaking out the old "doing more with less" shirts
You can bet that the first words out of Maggard's mouth at next year's fan day will be some bull____ about this meaningless bowl game streak and how we're gonna compete real hard to keep that going... to a smattering of applause from the 200 diehard old people in attendance
He had a very impressive game. Well deserved.
