Teurlings (and St Thomas More) each have a great feeder school system.
Checks notes: public schools have always had feeder schools
Sometimes even public HS coaches actually work at the feeder MS for their day job

How do you think Acadiana has built their Football program?

    "Tons of money"

The national average cost per student for public schools was about $16,526 in 2024.
The national average for Catholic school tuition is approximately $4,840 for elementary schools and $11,240 for secondary schools

Wouldnt there have been more complaints if more of the starters had been from public middle schools, lol

The private Catholic and Christian schools can pull kids from anywhere, have tons of money, and are actually paying their kids and kids families along w/ Free tuition. public Magnet schools and private schools should not be in the same division for playoffs.
I don't know of any Catholic schools that pay players. When I went to Jesuit, there were students, some athletes, some not, who were there on a scholarship, based on work they got to do in our cafeteria. This has been done for kids from low-income families since long before I went to school there. I don't know if any of the other Catholic schools do that, but it wouldn't surprise me if they do.

Elijah Haven and his family are getting paid by Dunham Christian School. Trust me on this one.

Same at Brother Martin. I knew many at BM who were on scholarship and worked in the cafeteria.

They’ve been getting paid. Can’t remember the player’s name but he drove from New Roads to Catholic BR in a BMW every day in high school.

How does that prove he was getting paid by school or boosters?
