Well, the UL Ragin’ Cajuns made their free throws in this one, sinking 20 of their 23 attempts at the line.

After missing 10 free throws in the four-point loss to Tulane on Tuesday, such individual categories didn’t play a factor at all in Friday’s humbling 88-62 road loss to the McNeese Cowboys at the Townley Law Arena.

McNeese could have won by 45 if they wanted to. That's how bad this basketball team is. The design of this offense could have been put together by the head coach of Lafayette Middle. Pathetic

This is what happens when coaches recruit athletes and not players with basketball skills. Athletic ability will only get a player so far in the sport. They have to, sooner or later, be able to put the ball in the basket. We see this year, after year, after year.

That seems to be the history of UL. New coach, same old same old. No different than Marlin, so far.
