Louisiana Basketball makes the short trip west to Lake Charles on Friday, opening a four-game road swing with a visit to McNeese at Townsley Law Arena.

Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. The game will air on ESPN+, with radio coverage on KPEL FM 96.5 in Lafayette (Acadiana) and worldwide on the Varsity Network app.

Louisiana (1-2) aims to even its mark after falling 66-62 to Tulane on Tuesday.

The matchup begins a stretch that sends the Ragin' Cajuns to the West Coast next week, starting Tuesday at Stanford. Louisiana will look to halt a two-game slide to McNeese (2-1), including a 64-56 setback last season at the Cajundome.

Every time I see we are playing McNeese in basketball, I remember when they forgot their uniforms and they had to play in UL practice gear. During the prayer, Perry Sanders said to pray for the young man who left the uniforms in Lake Charles!!
