That seems to be the history of UL. New coach, same old same old. No different than Marlin, so far.

Hud, Napier were not same old hires....both were competitive open market hires. Q was done similarly. No doubt he'll need a second recruiting cycle to fill skills gaps. This team desperately needs an inside post scorer. Our game is ALL perimeter......have to balance that with inside out scoring.

No second worst. 88-46 in 1957.

Don’t buy into this so fast. Coach Q comes from a great program who just played for the National Championship. He came in a little late, but still raised over a million dollars and put together practically a new team overnight. We will develop into a much better team this year, and the recruiting is already looking really good going foreword. Give him a chance to build something here.

I am willing as most are to give this coach a chance, but what we are witnessing on offense may be the worst offense in America right now. It is bad.

Good points. I can't believe some are giving up this quickly. Ridiculous.

Knowing how far down our program was, it will SURELY take more than one LATE recruiting class to turn things around.

Fair point. However that does not mean adjustments with this current squad can't be made. The dribble drive focus on the offense will struggle until Keller returns or until the bigs improve their play. Teams will employ the same strategy McNeese did and collapse the middle in order to force turnovers. Coach Q said as much in his post game interview.
