Louisiana Cross Country will run against the top schools in the region when it competes in the NCAA South Central Region meet on Friday at Agri Park.
The women's 6K race will start at 9 a.m., with the men's 10K event set for 10 a.m. Live results will be available at RaginCajuns.com.
The top two teams in the regional secure automatic bids to the NCAA Championships on November 22. The first four regional finishers not from an automatic qualifying or at-large team also secure an auto-bid to the championships.
Louisiana will send eight runners to the starting in the women's race, led by All-Sun Belt Conference performers Isabelle Russell, Ella Segura and Chloé Crowell. Rounding out the lineup for the Ragin' Cajuns includes Juliana Courville, Skylar Delgado, Spencer Frierson, Samantha Ponzo and Brooke Spalitta.
All-SBC runners Henry Lyon and Matthew Maynard pace eight entrants for Louisiana in the men's 10K race. Joining the duo on the course are Reed Boudreaux, Peyton Bourgeois, Justin Descant, Mason Haley, Jackson Jarrett and John Walker McDonald.
