Looks like a case of they Zig, you Zag.
If "no one" is using slappers, there must be some really REALLY good ones available for the picking.
Just don't get Zapped.

Whew! The Cajuns definitely don't have a cupcake schedule for 2026! Oklahoma tourney, LSU tourney, Texas A&M tourney, Florida State. This is the type of schedule Glasco wanted every year when he was here. Don't know how many wins the Cajuns will have in 2026 but kudos to Habetz for making this schedule. I can guarantee you that players want a schedule like this. It also helps with recruiting when PSA's see a schedule like this.
If glasco wanted a schedule like this, why didnt he have a schedule like this?
Glasco definitely wanted a schedue like this. Back when he was here, not many P5 programs (now P4) saw the upside to scheduling a high caliber mid-major program and potentially losing to them. This is just my opinion but with the contacts Aly has, it is easier for her to get P4 programs to schedule games with the Cajuns. Also, in these current times with NIL, I guess these programs don't feel as threatend because the Cajuns roster is not as stout as it was in the pre-NIL time period. I am not throwing shade on the current roster but the reality is that the 4 and 5 star recruits of today aren't looking at the Cajun program like they used to because of the money opportunities available elsewhere.
What's interesting is, the Cajuns schedule is more difficult than Texas Tech's.
That's because after Glasco stole Tennessee's All-SEC third baseman, Taylor Panell, Tennessee's head coach Karen Weekley, accused Texas Tech of tampering by contacting a player before they entered the portal.
As a result, it looks as though almost all SEC coaches decided not to put Texas Tech on their schedule. The only SEC team to do so is Texas A&M.
So, Texas Tech will be playing Jacksonville State, North Texas, Providence, Bethune-Cookman, Abilene Christian, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Detroit Mercy, Tarleton State, Stetson, UTEP. None of these teams are exactly world beaters. I promise you, in probably more than one of these games, Texas Tech will score more than 20 runs.
