Ramesh would support athletics but accountability would be at a new level. My impression of him is he has a great resume, has a vision of what our university can be, demands excellence and commitment from his people and is a great people person.
I am torn between a real national search that will allow the destroyer oof UNO to continue to tear our research/graduate apart or getting a president onboard now who can get us back on track on our main mission and be strong enough to take control of of finances versus what is happening now. No doubt we allowed some non mission essential stuff to creep in. That’s all got to go and we need to strategically cut back on programs that are not producing. That’s not what’s happening now.
More than the decision on the new president tomorrow. Looks like they were going to terminate Savoie.

He was going to be paid for a sabbatical first? Really???
If he really wanted to support the univ as an advisor does he really need to be a current employee, or could he in his spare time as a retiree simply write articles reflecting on his service and submit those
