    The players on every one of those teams played on the best teams in America in 1942.

    Randolph field tied the texas longhorns in the cotton bowl

    Notre dame were declared national champs that year, they played 4 military teams, lost to 1 and beat another by just 1 point, geaux figure. I cant help but wonder if we combined our preflight students onto our regular team rather than having separate teams as some did. For example alvin dark was on that '43 team after having played for tsab the year before
