Watching the game now. JMU just Announced a stadium enlargement and building an Entertainment District, something we have suggested and discussed here on all the vacant land around our athletic complex. Will UL ever act on it?

The entertainment district talked about at UL would be in the CF parking lot parallel to Cajundome Boulevard near the tunnel. Taking parking away from the dome and Cajun Field. Other than events at either venue, won’t be a destination setting when every day more Lafayette disposable income crosses the river.

JMU’s staff made adjustments, Dukes win 24-20. Sadly, won’t get them to the CFP.

And they lost to then 0-8 Sam Houston. The ESPN+ crew was breaking out the polish post game. I still think for any G-6 team other than an American Conference team to make the CFP, that team will have to be perfect and the American under performs. JMU will come to realize this soon enough.

There is all the land from Blackham to the CajunDome that can be developed without touching the Cajun Field parking lot. Tear down those ugly Frat houses, too. Let the Frats go back to renting the older houses around campus like we did back when I was in school. Frats were great back then. Not so much now.

This will just be another entity UL and/or the city to prop up.

Watched that JMU game and crowd look great. But that was 25000. in our stadium it would look kind of empty.
For this week's game with ULM if we have over 20000 it will look not as impressive as JMU , but different perspectives

JMU and ODU both won today. I suspect they will go somewhere (where I dunno) as soon as the opportunity arises
