Heaven forbid there be some sort of safety measures in place.

As mentioned earlier, they didn't make us empty pockets this time which drastically moved things along. I'm for safety but I just found it odd that we decided now was the time to put such a different measure in place. The line was LONG friday and it was like a TSA line. Take out everything from pockets and some people still had to get wanded because something was still triggering the machines. That seemed like an overstep.

Friday night didnt bother me, yesterday they were more laxed on security.

part of good security is the patrons not knowing what level of checking will be imposed from time to time

You do realize the increased security is probably because just 2 weeks ago someone tried to bring a gun into the Carencro football game.

It's an unfortunate incident but is it that the first time that has happened? There are random incidents like that across the country from time to time. I just didn't think it changed security measures across the board.

Any time an incident like that occurs, it increases security on the area.
