Thread: Predict the Final Record (Post Texas State)

Hardy was recruited by Southern Miss. His Dad was a former football player at Southern Miss. Southern Miss knew about him, recruited him and offered him a scholarship. Hardy chose to keep his recruitment open for better offers that never came. As it neared signing day, Hardy would not give Southern Miss a firm commitment so the Southern Miss staff moved on. Hardy received no other significant offers and signed with ULM. When Hardy blows up at ULM, the Southern Miss coaches look bad and are eventually fired. Coaches might still be there if Hardy had signed with Southern Miss.

I heard USM never offered hardy and that ULM was his only solid offer due to a injury he had.

Also means 3 losing seasons in 4 years.

So he received an offer at the U his Father played at but was rescinded prior to NSD?

To me, that's no offer. That's not my point though. And definitely don't fee like spending any more time on that. Point is, landscape has changed. It's a new era for recruiting.

We land the next Ahmad, how do we keep him. I don't think we can. I think it's damn near built into the offer (the chance of him bolting at the first opportunity to earn more from his skills.)

This is why Louisiana will never again have a run like it had when Levi Lewis was here - and getting Napier the god back will not help - as further support see Napier’s failure to succeed where he had money and support at the highest of levels in college sports - sorry but he is no god, not even close in fact he may not even be the coach HUD was if you consider the total package of each coach

What does this even have to do with Napier? Or Lewis?

On another note, does Des automatically get extended per his contract if he makes a bowl?

I think its only for 10 wins or playing in the SBC Championship game.
