He’s been banged up. Best scorer on team.

We are soft inside. I wish we would work more towards the mid range game. The teams who play in the mid range are generally your highest scoring offenses.

No chance that's the reason. He played amongst the most minutes.

He started against ball state. Coaches felt he would bring more energy off the bench which he did. A lot of the team has been banged up but that didn’t factor into the decision of bringing him off the bench.

We shot several mid range shot Friday night. Lots of them were plays designed for the guard to drive with the ball once they had an advantage over the defensive player in a "take" situation. . When cut off they shot mid range jumpers or floaters. Olvera, Keller, and Lavergne all scored in that manner. More mid range shots were taken Friday night than in half the games combined last season. Of course we need more from the inside guys. They need to do a better job on the glass on those floaters when the opponent's big guys go to cut off our guy driving.

How do you know? He literally came in a minute or two into the game. That doesn't sound like a guy who's banged up. Especially when he played more than 30 minutes....

Most of Olvera's damage was from mid range.
