I think everyone will agree that Al, like most Cajun fans, does not photograph well.. but that's OK.

I know this wasn't the intention of the creator, but let it ride. Whatever faults there might be will become endearing to older fans, and kids will love it no matter what.

I remember when the original Pelicans mascot hit the stands and kids and adults alike were terrified of it. So they cartooned it up and turned it into an"meh who cares" guy in a bird suit. If they had left it alone it would be a huge part of fan culture.
