Would love to hear what reactions Al got from Al. How were the kids with you? General alumni response. Did any Texas State alumni try to start a fight like their players did. Sorry. Had to throw that in.

I’m going to post my thoughts relatively soon. I’ve just had to work all day today.

But short answer: The kids LOVED him. Yesterday was one of the most fulfilling days of my life. Albineaux could not have had a better debut. I would never predicted just how much he would be swarmed by little Ragin Cajuns fans.

If anyone says that kids are afraid of Al, that means they didn’t go tailgating Saturday. Truly I’m just so thankful and blown away by this community.

Thanks. Look fwd to reading your summary. At the Cajun walk I was standing next to parents of some of our players. They were curious. Wondered if you had interaction with them? You were nearby. I did see lots of kids running towards you. A couple of little ones in parents arms were a tad bit hesitant. Naturally.

Most mascots I've seen have an intimidating look. Al is not scary.
