Under this format, think about it as the T12 [T25]

This JMU rise to stardom is easier to believe. (And its damn near impossible what they've done.) Just think if they'd been allowed to play in Bowls following their first two FBS seasons, they'd be even more well known. 25,000 peeps showed up for their College Gameday.

Sidenote: If our new Pres wants to become a Rockstar and see more money flow into the Univ of Louisiana than ever before, he should examine the JMU phenom. We already have the academic side, now we need College Gameday. This is what those p.o.s.(s) at State fear the most.
If anything, JMU had followed the same blueprint as App St and GaSo did in their transition to FBS. It’s no surprise that they have achieved this type of success.

Mike Houston and Curt Cignetti were their last two coaches. They took them to elite levels and Cignetti is an elite coach. We haven’t had that here. Nor have we had an administration That understands what it takes to sustain that sort of success.

But this is an absolute clear message that the SBC, CUSA and old MWC will never get a team into the CFP.

If we want a realistic shot at the CFP we must move to the American or new PAC 12.

You really think that App St. and Georgia Southern have had the same success as JMU?

Well, we see it completely different. Then, Conference wise, we're trying to hang on in the Belt. I say this all the time. We gotta dominate the Belt before any thought of American, etc. Win the Belt non-stop, we don't win the Belt non-stop. This is a very good conference with a ____ brand.

Got me ____ed and its barely Monday morning.

I like “This”. But we don’t have the deep pockets like JMU. They will be buying good players coming up, while we will be worrying about which of our good players will be leaving as money gets thrown at them.

JMU will be moving to the ACC soon. You can book it. SBC will have to find a new East member.

I'm sorry. This is a bigger deal than most realize.

Those players should have controlled themselves. Their actions are a reflection of their parents, their coaches and their schools.

No self-control. Of course, this is why both teams have losing records.

You cannot win when you don't have enough discipline to avoid this type of stupidity.

The players involved should be dismissed from their respective teams. The coaches should have handled that long before the conference did. There is no place for this type of behavior in sport.

I'm going throw hands if x, y, or z happens? I'm defending my teammate? Those are the weakest arguments. That's jungle mentality, and it is fine in war. But this ain't war.

A real man keeps his cool, says all right, and moves on to the next play, the next game, the next season.

That is the lesson that needs to be taught here. We shouldn't have to bring Robe back from the dead to explain that to those involved.

    Soft Take.
