To pull the plug on our offense at halftime with our 3-6 team was flat out stupid dumb....a team with embarrassing losses to Rice, E Michigan. Flirted with disaster vs 2-7 USA and blowing away winnable games with terrible.on field decisions vs USM and Troy.
Des.....please play 4 f'ing quarters. There is a time in almost every game to call it quits. Many people call it victory formation. Until then be the aggressor and finish the damn game the right way.
I'm tired of beating this dead horse. Anyone can pull the numbers themself. Our receivers have more drops this season than any other Cajuns season I can remember. That probably includes ol' Toothpick era.
My point is that no quantifiable metric exists for bad play calling when you have more drops than any other FBS program. If we're not dead last, we're one of the absolute worst this season. Not last season nor any other season, This season.
We all know he has a great showing at Troy, best game of the season for him. I gave him great praise for it. Guess how many times the ball was dropped, wait for it, one. 14 of 15 caught. Result: Won. Last night what caused that comeback was not a play call, it was a drop.
