Lost 61-47. Cut it to single digits and faded down the stretch. Much better second half. Defense clamped down but offense was severely lacking. Lots to work on but would much rather get this out of the way instead of playing teams like Loyola and Louisiana Christian to start the season. UNT is a bad matchup for our lineup imo. The grit is there, they just need to figure some things out offensively. Todd Jones and Sean Elkinton did not play.

You’re certainly entitled to your opinion but I think making that statement after one exhibition game is a bit of a stretch. I hope you realize that we lost to some crappy teams during the season under Jessie and Robert’s tournament teams. The talent is there. They just need to figure out their roles and what the rotation will be.

You do realize UNT was 27-9 and a second round NIT team last year. Not a scrub we played yesterday.
