  1. UL Football Shelton Sampson's Return a Bright Spot in Loss

redshirt sophomore wide receiver Shelton Sampson sure looked like the threat Ragin’ Cajuns coaches and fans thought they were getting

Sampson caught five passes for 74 yards and a touchdown in the Cajuns' 35-23 loss to Troy on Saturday at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

I sure would have liked to have seen him catch the fingertip pass I end zone. He beat their DBs and pass was just about there. It would have been an amazing catch and really helped his confidence and my stomach.

You have to lay out like Stokley if you want to make it to the NFL. Do coaches not teach this anymore
