I have said it for many years, i would be ok with turnovers being spotted at the point of the turnover, not sure why they allow defense to return them. Cant think of too many other sports where defense can score, it would be interesting to see a study of which teams win more often by that means

Can you recall when coaches made QB's had off their first series to get the jitters out?
It had no bearing here but I suspect back then they were afraid (perhaps overly) of the passing game being out of sync off the bench.
