Barking up the wrong tree again Sparky.
Or just dont spend so much time defending opponents against ourselves
My migraine intensifies each interaction with you. I know how the Alabama program is run and more specifically, Patrick Murphy and his character, because my daughter played there for 5 years and was recruited by him and more specifically, Aly, for 3 years prior to her signing her NLI with them in 2016.
As to the violation post you made, what the Official 2022-23 Violations Report Shows is that Alabama’s 2022–23 NCAA Level 3 violations summary (self-reported by the school) does include a game-day simulation violation, but it was from Men’s Basketball — not softball. In that case: A prospective men’s basketball student-athlete participated in a game-day simulation during an unofficial visit to campus. This was reported as a Level 3 violation with corrective actions such as rules education, personnel admonishment, and recruiting restrictions. As per Chat GPT, there’s no record in the official 2022-23 Level 3 violations summary of Alabama softball self-reporting a violation involving a recruit participating in a game-day simulation during an unofficial visit. The only violation (self reported or otherwise) for Alabama Softball was for the 2020–21 reporting period in which an assistant coach posted an endorsement of a tweet made an individual on Twitter who instructs prospective student-athletes which was subsequently used as a testimonial on the individual’s company website. The assistant coach received the following actions as a result of their tweet: 1) Letter of admonishment to the coach; 2) Removal of the tweet; 3) Rules education for the entire softball staff; and 4) Prohibition on contact with prospective student-athletes affiliated with that individual or company.
I am sure that everyone, like myself, is fatigued by the inaccurate posts you routinely make. While there have been certain instances over the years with programs who have had various violations regarding recruiting, practices and academics, you will find that softball in general is one of the cleanest of all NCAA programs. And since this thread is dedicated to UL softball and not Alabama, this is the last post I will make about this matter.
If only our fans spent so much time helping our own teams
I don’t know Mark at all, but I really enjoy reading his posts, as unlike many on this board, he offers perspective, knowledge and avoids the “fire the coach” drivel.
I hope he continues to post here. I also hope he remembers to either block or skip those who offer no value to this forum.
It definitely makes things better for all.
You just got your a** handed to you by someone who actually knows something factually correct about softball and this is your response? You went down that road first and then got slapped. I know MH. He's got season tickets for both UL and Alabama, which means he supports both programs. He also is also a member of the Centerfield Club for UL. He is a supporter of local softball and works with numerous young girls who are chasing the dream. What have you done to support UL softball or any UL sports program for that matter? I mean other than make factually incorrect posts?
Not sure why you/most are so hung up on trying to win a post or say someone else lost a post. Not fighting anyone, just seeking information and wanting cajuns to win. Its not that hard...
