Thread: UL's Offense Held to a Season-Low

  1. UL Football UL's Offense Held to a Season-Low

Offensively, things just haven’t been where Louisiana football has wanted them all season long and it continued against Southern Mississippi in Week 8.

Sophomore quarterback Lunch Winfield made his second collegiate start in the Ragin’ Cajuns' homecoming tilt despite being a little banged up, dealing with an ankle injury. With Winfield not at 100%, the Cajuns decided to go with its initial starting quarterback Walker Howard in the second quarter to try to spark some life into the offense.

Play calling isnt the issue. No matter what play is called.....when OL cant run block and nearly all your WR drop numerous passes almost every game. How does one know if its the play calling or player execution failures....or both.

Did you see us run the ball yesterday? I agree it’s not the play calling, it’s the entire offensive scheme.
