CMD should learn from Napier’s mistake and hire a true OC and give up playcalling duties. Focus on program leadership and recruiting/nil/retention.

Napier is no more the solution as Des is the problem - sorry folks

You’re joking, right? We were calling the plays before they even happened last night. We did nothing to spread them out or throw short passes until we went to the hurry-up — which, by the way, actually worked. Instead, it was the same thing over and over: inside run after inside run, then a deep shot.

I was really hoping Des would turn it around, but it’s obvious he’s lost both fan and player buy-in. There’s a reason we were picked to finish first in the West — this is one of the most talented teams on paper. The problem isn’t talent; it’s consistently bad play-calling.

I know we’re not buying out his contract anytime soon, but support is fading fast, and that’s going to make the next hire even harder And now our players are just walking all over Des, and now we’ve sunk to the bottom of the Sun Belt.

And honestly, what I see on campus is now what I see on Saturdays,I see most of our players riding scooters all over campus all day, I can’t help but wonder — would top programs really let their players be that lazy off the field or is that the current state of our program.

RPCA continues to live in a fake past which was only the capture of lightning in a bottle where all circumstances good happened to fall together at the same time, the largest and most influential factor in the lightning was Levi Lewis - he is no longer available - Napier is an average coach at best without Levi, he can’t call plays either - the two million which may have been there to get one more year is not anymore and it probably would have been money spent on fools gold if it happened for that year as Levi Lewis would not have been there to bail Napier out of bad play calling and average at best coaching - besides he may be even more hard headed than Des


We are where we are as a result of the totality of circumstances the least of which is Des being coach and Napier would do absolutely nothing to assist the situation - in fact Hid’s fast talking personality could probably do more to assist under the circumstances thsn Napier the God could ever do
