Watch when LSU spends $50 million (donor or otherwise) to get rid of Bryan Kelly, and most of Louisiana will rejoice. $50+ million to replace a coach because he lost a few games. $50 million that could be spent on God knows what, and they're going to spend it to get rid of the guy early because LSU didn't go undefeated. LSU, Penn St, etc don't have to even consider optics

I doubt the LSU athletic department/university would pay for the buyout. It will all come from boosters, which is appropriate, and which they have. Do we still have boosters who could pay a buyout and fund a higher HC salary? Given the turmoil with the UL presidency and the state of university finances across the state, I doubt anything will happen this year anyway.

UL shot their selves in the foot with this debacle with the university president and it has cost them dearly!

Whoever is named next president will decide who the AD will be, whether that is our current one or someone else and then a decision will be made with Mike. I cant see any decision on Mike until at least after the 27 season. He has until then to turn it around.

I agree. It won't be a complete demolition/construction situation like when we hired Bustle. We have a foundation and the resources/facilities now, but it will be a restarting of the program. Probably coinciding with the completion of OLOL stadium.

Believe what you want but LSU doesn't worry about UL. Never have and never will. There really is no competition and never has been. There's no comparison between the two schools although this fan base is consumed with the fact that there is.
